#1 Choose a realistic goal
Set a goal! What do you want to achieve and in what time frame do you want to achieve it? Because achieving training goals in a short period of time is tricky business. Therefore, do go for a realistic goal, because you can't expect to get 3 pants sizes smaller in 1 month. Make sure you work on your body in a conscious and healthy way. A crash diet is not the way to go, go for the long-term goal and set intermediate goals.
#2 Be active!
This tip is pretty obvious, but every little bit helps. Leave public transportation, scooter and car for what it is. Go for a nice bike ride or walk. Nowadays you have lots of apps that can help and motivate you to do a certain number of movements per day. That way you still work out a little extra every day.
#3 Vary
Stay motivated by having enough variety, both in terms of food and training. Change up your meals completely, and do a different workout. This way you avoid monotony and stay motivated. Introduce enough variety into your workout to stimulate your body optimally. Ask trainers to help you set up a schedule or workout program. That way you will get the most out of your training and achieve the best results.
#4 you are unique!
There is no point in copying others. Sure, it's nice to have role models and people (or bodies) as motivation, but this doesn't mean you have to do exactly what they do. Every body is different. What works for one may not be as effective for another. Every person is unique, so make sure you create a plan that fits you in terms of exercise and nutrition.
#5 Exercise together
Nothing works more motivating than setting goals together with your exercise buddy and celebrating successes. The chances of both of you achieving your goals increases significantly when you exercise together. You have a big stick and at difficult moments you can help each other. In addition, it is of course very pleasant to work out with your buddy.
#6 Supplement your diet with the right supplements
Now that you are actively working out and pay attention to your nutrition, it is also useful to look at the supplements you can take to supplement your diet. To stimulate muscle growth and speed up recovery you can take protein supplements. Depending on what you are comfortable with, you can take whey or vegan protein.
Omega-3 is also often a good addition to your diet. Omega-3 is good for your eyes, heart, brain and muscles. Of course, you not only want to look good but also feel good. Just make sure you choose natural and responsible supplements.
